Eastern Center For Arts And Technology
Last night the Burke family was able to present the first ever Sean C. Burke Memorial Scholarship to a student at Eastern Center for Arts and Technology. It was a beautiful awards ceremony that honored very talented students. Together with the Burke family, Eastern chose a student in the Automotive Technology program who had a passion for cars and all things mechanical, just like Sean. Everyone at Burke Brothers wishes this years recipient, Chakai, the best of luck in all of his endeavors. Eastern allowed Sean to explore his passion and dedication to figuring out just how things work. We know Sean would be proud of the amazing scholarship opportunity. For those who are interested in contributing to the Sean C. Burke Memorial Scholarship, please send your check payable to the “EASTERN Foundation” and mail to 3075 Terwood Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Please note the Sean C. Burke Memorial Award in the note section.

Chestnut Hill Garden District Fund
This past Saturday, Kevin Burke, of Burke Brothers Landscape Design/Build was honored at an intimate garden party in Wyndmoor. Each year, the Chestnut Hill Garden District Fund has been honoring influential people in the community. This year, Kevin was chosen because of his generosity towards beautifying Chestnut Hill. Over the past 15 years Burke Brothers has been responsible for contributing both time and materials towards the avenue. This includes updating and restoring Cliff Park. It was a huge honor and Burke Brothers looks forward to continuing to support Chestnut Hill, committing to make it a beautiful place to live and visit.

New Eastern Aware: Sean C. Burke Memorial Scholarship
Burke Brothers Landscape Design/Build lost one of our founders, Sean Burke, in January 2016. While he is truly missed everyday- at the office, on the job sites, and by his friends and loved ones this is something we know Sean would be proud of. A Sean C. Burke Memorial Scholarship has been started in his name at EASTERN. This is where Sean fostered his love of automotive technology.
